2025 YEAR END REPORT
Eastern Sierra Dog Rescue, with your help, has been busy with our mission of helping dogs in our communities this year. Our goals are to help keep dogs in their homes, use social media to promote shelter dogs to the public, and reduce the population of unwanted dogs that end up in the shelter.
We’ve sponsored free or reduced dog adoption promotions at the Inyo County Animal Shelter, helping over 67 dogs find their forever homes. Other donations made to the shelter include enrichment items, dogs beds, and paying to spay/neuter dogs going into foster care. ESDR and volunteers help 14 adoption events in Bishop, Mammoth, and Crowley this year. Generous businesses let us bring over 85 dogs out of the shelter to spend a few hours showing their true personals to the public. A huge thank you to Tailwaggers Bishop, Black Sheep Coffee Roasters, and Crowley Lake Marina.
In 2025 we spent over $31,000 on pet needs in our communities. We started a food donation program to help seniors and others in need to help keep dogs in their homes. We help with spay/neuter costs, and help individuals that foster, rescue, or aid dogs in their neighborhoods. None of this would have been possible without your help. If you are able, please donate at easternsierradogrescue.com or mail your check to ESDR PO Box 763, Bishop, CA 93514.
Thank you for all you’ve done to help dogs in the Eastern Sierra.
From all of us at Eastern Sierra Dog Rescue.
