Urgent Need!

Hello Friends, anyone out there with a soft spot for mature dogs? Bernie is in temporary foster care and needs a forever home!

Foster parent’s update…

Bernie is always smiling and ready to play, go for a walk, or just relax on the couch!

His favorite place is the dog park where he plays well with every other dog and loves to fetch a tennis ball. For an older dog he has a good energy level. He's very obedient and gentle on the leash while on walks. He knows sit, shake (or paw as we say it), lay down, and stay.

He is food motivated so you likely could teach him many other tricks by using treats. He’s great with our cat and we have had other dogs visit us in our home and he matches their energy well. If they are excited to play, he'll gladly play.

If they are less enthusiastic he'll leave them alone.

On walks he immediately bonds with the other dogs and a pack is formed. For these reasons we think he would do very well in a home with other animals, specially dogs.
